American Academy of Pediatrics Child Passenger Safety Recommendations

The American Academy of Pediatrics made some changes to their policy on child car seat positioning.

The New Policy Statement released yesterday specifically addressed the age in which children should remain in a rear facing car seat.

Prior to this change, it was suggested that parents only switch to forward facing at a minimum of 1 yr old and/or 20 lbs.*
